Thursday Night Lights

Nah, I have yet to be hooked on Friday Night Lights. There are other more important TV shows to download hehehe. I really don't have time to think of a title when the reason I turned on the PC was to finish my curriculum for next week. Sigh!

A new friend of mine from dance class (wasn't able to get his name) was horsing around with one of the trainers and mentioned that Shaider is about to be remade by GMA 7. What the?! The girls beside me have no idea what he was talking about, and then I find out they're just 17! My goodness, I suddenly felt old! I had to reveal I'm 27 and explained that it was this hit show from the late 80s. And incidentally, the Japanese actor who played Shaider already passed on due to liver failure.

My unnamed friend told me that Kris Bernal and Mart Escudero will be cast as Annie and Alexis/Shaider, respectively. Sino daw?! At kamag-anak ko ba yung Kris? Pasensya na, lumaki kasi akong pinapanood sina Piolo at John Lloyd. Bianca King and Iwa Moto are said to be cast as two of the amazonas. Sino daw ulit?! Ah medyo familiar na sila kahit papano. Who will be cast as Ida? Haha. And then Unnamed friend added that he wanted to audition for the part of the transvestite amazona with the horns hahahahaha! Hay nako laff trip talaga. Ab workout na rin nga eh. The ubiquitous 80s really brings back hilarious memories.. and cheesy ones too!
